  1. Congrats to our team players who showed a lot of passion & sacrifice to play for WYKAAO on a long weekend.

We have much much tougher competition this year, with last year’s 3rd (La Salle) & 4th (Mung Seng) teams bringing in reinforcements from high power 2,000 points + ranking players.

They emerged as first & second in this tourney. King’s College (brought in by our Tim Cheung, had the highest rank Ontario player, Jack Fok, in the tourney. Jacky coached at MTTC and was a former HK Junior Team) ended up coming 3rd. KC beat our Team A in round robin so that we had to play Mung Sang for final 4.

Team A had a very bad draw as returning champion and David was hurt prior to the tourney.

Nevertheless, we had a spirited run before being knocked out in final eight and came 5th.

Thank you Mike Yam, Allen Lee and Captain David Ho for putting up your best effort.

Thank you Vinnie Yam, Mr. Antony Ho, Andrew Tang and coach Diana Zhu for cheering us on.

Team B showed continous progress with Bill playing steady and Chris practicing hard and improving on game day performance. This pair from Cl. 77 will be the core of our Team B in future.

Congrats to Our President Jeff who clinched the all important 5th game against Ying Wah B with a 3-2 win.
Jeff has shown both leadership & improved skills during this tourney.

DBS came 2nd and Ying Wah A won the Consolation top bragging right, as expected.

Most importantly, we held WYK spirit high during this tourney, had a lot of fun and met many new friends.

    Wilfred
