Fan Zhendong \u6a0a\u632f\u4e1c is a critical addition to the team this year. \u7537\u961f\u540d\u5355\u4e3a\u5f20\u7ee7\u79d1\u3001\u9a6c\u9f99\u3001\u8bb8\u6615\u3001\u6a0a\u632f\u4e1c\u548c\u65b9\u535a.<\/p>\n<p>Up and coming youngster \u65b9\u535a played once during the group competition stage.<\/p>\n<p>Austria beat Portugal (who beat Japan in QF)\u00a0 in the other Semi Final to become the first European team since 2007 in the this Championship since returning to international calendar.<\/p>\n<p>Germany (w\/o 2 top players, out of final 8) , Japan (lost to Portugal in Q\/F), South Korea (lost to Chinese Taipei in QF)\u00a0 were shut out of final four.<\/p>\n<p>China Women benched world &amp; grand slam champion \u674e\u6653\u971e (injury and lack of discipline training) in favour of\u00a0 younger star \u6731\u96e8\u73b2 who, on her 20th birthday,\u00a0 beat \u51af\u5929\u8587 of Singapore 3-2,\u00a0 in the Semi final opening game and survived a tough North Korean player 3-2 in the final. China Women won 3-0 in S\/F and Final.<\/p>\n<p>North Korean is the surprise Finalist after a long absence. North Korea beat strong Japan 3-0 (#2 Seed but w\/o \u77f3\u5ddd\u4f73\u7eaf&amp; \u798f\u539f\u7231) in the other Semi final.
