Pius Lee writes, “Charles Wat Hok Chung (5C, Junior B, WYK \u00a072) just passed away in Texas this morning, 20\/04\/2015, due to lung cancer.”<\/p>\n

\nHaven’t seen Wat since the early 70’s but the time we spent together in scouting was as vivid as yesterday’s happenings. When I was PL of Antelope, Wat was my Patrol Second and was thoroughly helpful. His big build rendered him always took up a lot more stuff… carrying the heavy canvas tent, bamboos, etc than other scouts in walking the 8-miles journeys… and many other fond memories.
\nIndeed miss him, and wish him peace and happiness in the kingdom of God.” ~

\n8 mile journey !\u00a0 have not heard that term for over 40 years … yes\u00a0 fond memories.” ~Fred Hsu<\/p>\n

Charles was diagnosed with kidney cancer 2 years ago.
\nHis condition got worse early this year.
\nOn April 18, got message from his wife that condition got worse and outlook not good.
\nFlew to Houston, Texas on Sunday and was able to see him for a few hours. \u00a0He passed away in his sleep Monday morning peacefully. \u00a0He was survived with wife, Winnie, and 2 sons, Nicholas( 28 yrs )and Christopher ( 25yrs ).
\nFamily had a private service April 22 and body was cremated.
\nI will miss him very much.\u00a0 I had\u00a0known Charles since\u00a03rd grade for 52 years.<\/p>\n
