<\/a>The night was getting chilly, and the Campfire had long finished. At 2am I went out to do a camp inspection, making sure the tent ropes are tight, equipment properly stowed etc. There in the dead of night, I heard giggling and suppressed laughter, still.\nFrom the Air Scouts area.
\nWhat on earth…and then the memory from a few hours ago at the Campfire came back, and I started laughing too.<\/p>\n
One of the Campfire games was the 4 Troops taking turn coming up with a TV\/Radio commercial, within 10 second of the last. We have survived 6 rounds by then, JrB had fouled out already, and every body was running out of ideas from memory.<\/p>\n
Our turn – Nothing was coming up – 3 seconds left….
\nAll of a sudden, Mike Chu (\u54aa\u8c6c) from Falcon piped up:<\/p>\n
“\u6d17\u5f97\u975a, \u53eb\u6551\u547d, \u6173\u5c4e\u53c8\u6173\u5c3f,
\n\u8acb\u7528\u6708\u8001\u724c, \u65b0\u5947\u6d17\u8863\u7c89…dumdumdum”<\/p>\n
“FOULED !!” cried the Judge !<\/p>\n
It didn’t matter, the Air Scouts probably never heard him.
\nThe boys were twisting in uproarious laughter on the ground. Flat on their backs with a couple of kicking feet sticking up in the air.
\nTo his credit, Mike Chu tried to defend his rendition, claiming it was his\u4e0a\u6d77 accent.
\nThe defense crumpled when he started laughing uncontrollably too, and the boys started pummeling him. \ud83d\ude00
\nThe Camp Warden had to silence us so the game could continue.
\nLiterally overnight, Mike became the AST’s \u958b\u5fc3\u679c.<\/p>\n
They said laughter is good for your health, but loosing half a night’s sleep because of it ?
\nHmmm…the boys seemed ok the next day. Mike was met with a big grin from everyone he ran into.
\nMaybe we did win, in a way.<\/p>\n
